A few words about me and my work
Born in 1989 in Poland. Threefold holder of the scholarship of the Rector of Adam Mickiewicz University. In 2015 and 2018 honoured with the title of Personality of Ostrów Culture.
Practises painting, drawing and Gilding. He explores the theme of human condition and the aesthetics of human body. Inspiration also provides him with nature.
I am creating the world suspended between consciousness and dream. The common denominator of this world is the human corporeality in multiple terms, its fascinating and delightful aesthetics. I analyze it – sometimes reducing the body to a two-dimensional ornament, decoration. In search of timeless, universal beauty, I compose images composed of many features, like in ancient sculptures of Greek deities and heroes – cold, indifferent, strong. Monumental. Another time sensual and fragile. I use impermanent corporeality to capture fleeting states, emotions and thoughts. As an insightful observer. I create symbolic portraits that constitute the psychological outline of the presented person.
